Can you find farfar on the picture?
This is taken in 1976 when I played in the local streetband called "Skjettenbyen Krøss & Be". As member of that band I joined another band "Norwegian All Star Band" who did an US trip in 1983. We stayed in Fargo and played in different places around in ND, SD and MN mainly for Norwegian immegrants.
The last weeks we have been busy with making the house looking nicer.
As you can see it is not so easy to find places for the ladder around the house. The house is more or less covered with green stuf so it is a quite challenging job.
We are pretending that "Speedy Gonzales" Christian is running these stairs up and down and the garden around - maybee next August!!?

The other night, a very hot one, I couldn't sleep, so I stod up around 0200 and observed this very special phenomenone - a sunset mirage. The direction in the picture is straight north, so it should not be a sun there. The sun is under the horizone. But because of hot air meet cold air, this can happen. Nice ?

Fata morgana av solnedgang er ikke ofte jeg ser. Men forleden natt var det så varmt at senga ikke var et blivende sted, så jeg sto opp og fikk se dette fenomenet. Bildet er tatt rett mot nord - mot Gardermoen, så solen er vel like langt under horisonten som speilbildet over. Vakkert, ikke sant ?
